Dabuleni

Dabuleni is a city in Dolj County , Oltenia , Romania , inclusive of Dabuleni element, and Chiasu village . It was d a city by means of Law 83/2004. The Dăbuleni metropolis is positioned inside the south of Oltenia, in the south-east of Dolj county, south of Craiova and close to Bechet , within the vicinity of the Danube , in a sandy soil place known as "Sahara Olteniei". It is a part of the Romanati ethnographic area . The alleviation of the area includes plains and meadows protected with sand dunes. On the south, there are easy-searching hills that climb to the northern stop of the territory.

On the area of the present metropolis there had been three villages: Broasca, Ciungu and Dabuleni. Dabuleni commune changed into formed, which became a city in 2004. On the territory of Dabulenilor, "inside the valley" existed earlier than the Second World War a moist place, often fueled by way of the overflowing of the Danube waters, with many ponds and reeds , an area in which humans were fishing and in which they offered reed and rush for family use .
