About Tomar Synagogue
The synagogue was set up in the mid-fifteenth century yet wasn't being utilized for extensively over 50 years as the Jews were expelled or constrained to change over by King Manuel I toward the complete of the 1400s. Walking around the cobblestone Rua Dr Joaquim Jacinto you wouldn't know the synagogue was here yet for a careful star of David.
Within has high groined vaults borne by corbels and four areas with foliate topics. This stonework has delegate centrality, as the areas address the four Matriarchs, and the corbels are for the Twelve Tribes of Israel. You can visit, explore and experience this place with your loved ones.
