Fries Museum

The Fries Museum is a historical center in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands. The historical center was established on 13 April 1881 by the "Common Friesch Genootschap ter Beoefening van Friesche Geschied-, Oudheid-en Taalkunde", a general public for the conservation of Frisian culture that was itself was established in 1827 and required a place to display the different curios it had assembled.
