Chimalhuacan

Chimalhuacan is a city and region situated in the eastern piece of State of Mexico, Mexico. It lies simply outside the upper east fringe of the Federal District Federal District and is a piece of the Greater Mexico City urban zone. The city is essentially coextensive with the district. The evaluation of 2005 detailed a population of 524,223 for the city and 525,389 for the district all in all.

The Chimalhuacan was established 1259 by three boss or tlatoani named Huauxomatl, Chalchiutlatonac and Tlatzcantecuhtli. These boss and their kin started from Tula and Culhuacan. They spoke Chichimeca and Mexica however their traditions consolidated and Nahuatl turned into the prevailing language. It wound up subject to Texcoco, and through that had a place with the Aztec Triple Alliance in 1431. The Spanish town of Chimalhuacan was established in 1529 and the Dominicans constructed a congregation and religious community here in 1563.
