About Mount Komaki

Mount Komaki is an 86-metre-excessive 282 toes mountain located within the city of Komaki, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. At one point, the mountain was crowned with the unique Komakiyama Castle, constructed by means of Oda Nobunaga. However, in modern days, the whole mountain has emerge as a ancient park, well known for its sakura timber. The present day fort became built in 1967, as a pastime of Nobunaga's castle. Mt. Komaki is positioned in the center of a tremendous simple, allowing hikers a clear view of the encompassing vicinity once they reach the summit. Its base stretches for almost 600 m 1,969 ft from east to west, and 400 m 1,312 toes from north to south, covering an area of approximately 21 ha 52 acres.

The first Komakiyama Castle became built by way of order of Nobunaga in 1563; but, the fort have become well known in 1584, at some point of the Battle of Komaki and Nagakute, whilst Tokugawa Ieyasu used it as his base.
