Joypolis

Joypolis is an amusement mecca chain that was first opened on July 20, 1994, in Yokohama, Japan. Joypolis centers have since opened in a couple of urban groups in Japan and China with the parks featuring arcade amusements and redirection rides in perspective of Sega academic properties.

These parks have been opened, yet beginning at 2016 all things considered, only five parks remain operational: three in Japan Odaiba, Tokyo; Umeda, Osaka, and Okayama and two in China Qingdao and Shanghai. Whatever is left of the parks have closed in light of low visitor numbers.

Presently, the Odaiba, Umeda, and Qingdao, these are worked by CA Sega Joypolisas, and with the Okayama, stop worked by Sega Entertainment, and the Shanghai stop is worked by Hong Kong-based ChinaAnimation.

Sega reported in 2016 that the China Animations would secure a larger part stake in Sega Live Creation now CA Sega Joypolis for 600 million yen, fruitful January 2017. The parks are never again totally controlled by Sega aside from the Joypolis in Okayama.
