About Liberty Hall

Freedom Hall is a piece of the Institute of Jamaica.It was opened in 1923 and turned into the overall home office of the United Negro Improvement Association UNIA in 1927.

It is presently a multi-media historical center committed to Marcus Garvey who was Jamaica's first official national hero.The outside of the place is improved with sprightly mosaics and a painting portraying Marcus Garvey.

The Museum highlights intuitive and sight and sound displays of the life and work of Marcus Garvey. It is accepted to be the principal exhibition hall on the planet committed to Marcus Garvey and the main multi-media gallery in the Caribbean.

Freedom Hall likewise has a group outreach program, holding after-school programs for neighborhood youngsters, PC proficiency classes and even capoeira lessons on the rooftop porch. There is additionally a reference library with an attention on Garvey.
