About Veroli
Veroli is a metropolis and comune in province of Frosinone, Lazio, relevant Italy, in the Latin Valley. Veroli have become a Roman municipium in 90 BCE. It became the seat of a bishopric in 743 CE, and became occupied by way of Spanish milices, allied to the Colonna family, in the 16th troops. Veroli retains factors of its historic polygonal nucleus, specially near the summit of the hill, later occupied by way of a medieval castle. The Cathedral's treasury consists of the breviary of St. Louis of Toulouse, and some exciting reliquaries, one in ivory with bas-reliefs, and in the Gothic style, of silver gilt.
Near Veroli is the Gothic Abbey of Casamari. Casamari Abbey is a Cistercian abbey inside the Province of Frosinone, Lazio, Italy, about 10 kilometers east-south-east of Veroli. It marks the site of Cereatae, the birthplace of Caius Marius, afterwards recognised, as inscriptions attest, as Cereatae Marianae, having been separated perhaps through the triumvirs from the territory of Arpinum. In the early Imperial instances it was an unbiased community.
