About Ceprano
Ceprano is a metropolis and comune in the province of Frosinone, within the Latin Valley, part of the Lazio location of crucial Italy. It is 106 kilometres south of Rome and approximately 127 kilometres north of Naples. Ceprano became a part of the Papal States, from roughly the 6th century until 1870. After Italian Unification and the Capture of Rome, the metropolis become a part of the Kingdom of Italy, a constitutional monarchy dominated from Rome by using the House of Savoy.
Since 1946 Ceprano has been part of the Italian Republic. On 27 January 1862 the Rome-Ceprano Railroad was opened for service. On 28 May 1944 Ceprano became taken with the aid of Canadian troops as part of the Allies' push towards German occupation. Ceprano's origins are related to the Roman colony founded in 328 BC on the left financial institution of the Liri River, known as Fregellae. Nowadays the ruins of the city may be seen within the territory of the near-by way of municipality of Arce.
