Cattedrale Vegetale

Vegetal Cathedral of Lodi , 108 wooden columns were used placed on a plot of over 1600 square meters.

Lodi is an incredible work made entirely with natural elements.

The work is a celebration to its creator, Giuliano Mauri.

The artist who passed away in 2009, throughout his career has created plant architecture with the intent of recovering a profound dialogue with the places.

That of Lodi can be defined as his artistic testament. Each column of the Cathedral contains within it an oak that will grow in height inside.

The building stands on the left bank of the river Adda, specifically in the "Ex Sicc" area. The artistic direction of the works was coordinated by the sons of Mauri.
