Museum of Art

The Tel Aviv Museum of Art is a craftsmanship exhibition hall in Tel Aviv, Israel. It was built up in 1932 out of a building that was the home of Tel Aviv's first leader, Meir Dizengoff. The Helena Rubinstein Pavilion for Contemporary Art opened in 1959. The historical center moved to its present area on King Saul Avenue in 1971. Another wing was included 1999 and the Lola Beer Ebner Sculpture Garden was set up. The gallery likewise contains "The Joseph and Rebecca Meyerhoff Art Education Center", opened since 1988. The exhibition hall houses an extensive gathering of traditional and contemporary workmanship, particularly Israeli craftsmanship, a model garden and an adolescent wing.

The Museum's gathering speaks to a portion of the main craftsmen of the principal half of the twentieth century and a considerable lot of the significant developments of current craftsmanship in this period: Fauvism, German Expressionism, Cubism, Futurism, Russian Constructivism, the De Stijl development and Surrealism, French workmanship, from the Impressionists and Post-Impressionists to the School of Paris including works of Chaim Soutine, key works by Pablo Picasso from the Blue and Neo-Classical period to his Late Period, Cubist artistic creations by Albert Gleizes, Jean Metzinger, a few figures by Jacques Lipchitz, and Surrealists works of Joan Miro.
