About Yumthang River

The Yumthang River is a popular destination spot when visiting Yumthang, Sikkim. The river is also known by the name as Yumthang Chu. The river is flow through the sanctuary of Shingba Rhondendron sanctuary where it is comprised with Rhodondendron trees and shrubs. The river is acquainted with hot springs which is crowded by visitors over every year.

The valley is extremely picturesque with green slopes on either sides where yaks graze amidst the green meadow which is absolute scenario to treat the eyes.
