The TIPA was established by Tenzin Gyatso, the fourteenth Dalai Lama on achieving McLeod Ganj. It was then called Tibetan Music, Dance and Drama Society, which was one of the main foundations set up by the Dalai Lama, and was set up to protect Tibetan imaginative legacy, particularly musical drama, move, and music. The new musical drama organization utilized both expert and novice entertainers and engaged the Tibetan displaced person camps and arranged ious exhibitions of the people Lhamo musical shows.
