Thrissur Zoo

At the core of Thrissur lies its well known Zoo, with an inheritance and legacy that dates the distance back to 1885. Its ubiquity was solidified by the consistent increases of uncommon species. Open on all days with the exception of Mondays, one is quickly captivated by the extraordinary exhibitions here.

From the Lion-Tailed Macaque, Sloth Bear, types of winged animals and deer to gigantic King Cobras, Pythons and Vipers, one will never be exhausted at this awesome region. Go in casual as the creatures adore connecting with every one of the guests.

Vivid plaques illuminate you about the current advancements at this immaculate foundation. The zoo houses a wide assortment of creatures, reptiles, and feathered creatures. Some of these are tigers, lions, deers, sloth bears, monkeys, hippopotamus, camels, cobras, kraits, snakes, rodent snakes, pink flamingos, mithun of the north-eastern slopes, and lion-followed macaques.
