The Sacred Heart Cathedral lies in the focal point of Edwin Lutyens Delhi and competes for fascination in correlation with the other stately structures encompassing it. This was just the second Catholic church in Delhi after St. Mary's congregation in Old Delhi. The basilica, which is a safe house of peace, is gone by every day by fans from India and abroad.
The congregation is best gone by amid Easter and Christmas when the surroundings are lit up. The prime mission of the church building is to encounter the live of God in functional life. The congregation is open seven days seven days from 0630 – 1800 hrs and passage is free. Composed by the British designer Henry Medd, the focal sacrificial stone is made of unadulterated white marble and transmits a calming and profound feeling.
