Srisailam Tiger Reserve

The major attraction of city, the Srisailam tiger reserve is the largest tiger reserve in India. It is spread over an area of 3568 square kilometers. The reserve is known for its varied wildlife and the breathtaking scenic beauty. It is situated in the deciduous forest of Nallamala. The mesmerizing landscape of the looming hills, the echoing valleys, the rivers and the winding roads together make it a must-visit. 

This wild paradise houses not only the tiger, but also leopards, sloth bears, Indian Pangolin, Chita, deer, Blackburn and reptiles and amphibians like crocodile, Indian python, cobra etc. There are a number of crocodiles in the waters of Srisailam Dam. It is much more than a big cat sanctuary. It is the safe space for animals and a popular spot for the tourists.
