Siddhagiri Gramjivan Wax Museum at Kaneri, Kolhapur district, Maharashtra, is a sculpture museum. The full name is Siddhagiri Gramjivan Museum. It is located at Shri Kshetra Siddhagiri Math, a campus built around the Moola-Kaadsiddheswar Shiva temple. This museum showcases extraordinary elements of Gramjivan. Gram way village and jivan method lifestyles inside the Marathi language. This initiative become the dream of Mahatma Gandhi, and become created through the vision and efforts of Siddhagiri Gurukul Foundation.
The history of self-enough village lifestyles in Maharshtra, before the invasion of the Mughals, is depicted inside the form of cement sculptures. Each sculpture is lifelike and represents activities performed in daily village lifestyles. There had been 12 Balutedars, and 18 Alutedars who furnished gadget to perform home and professional tasks. The museum is unfold over 7 acres, and the encompassing geographical region is stunning, with lush greenery. Every aspect of village lifestyles has been depicted in almost 80 scenes that show off greater than 300 statues.
