Reis Magos Fort

The fort is a beautiful drive away from the hustle and bustle of Panjim. Though Reis Magos Fort stands with a rundown look, do not be deterred from stopping by for a fantastic location overlooking the river. The view of the lovely River Mandovi that you get once you climb to the top of the fort is just unparalleled to any other here at Goa. It is a photographer's paradise.

The name Reis Magos came from the church next door, which symbolized the Three Wise Men who went to Bethlehem. It has been restored into a fine looking monument, one which has all the ingredients for being the perfect solution for a holiday.

There is a small museum in one of the rooms that has the original art work of the famous Goan caricature artist Mario. It is a treat that was to see the depiction of Goan life by this great artist.
