About Pisharnath Mahadev Mandir

The Pisharnath Mahadev Mandir is a Shiva temple positioned within the hill-station of Matheran in Maharashtra, India. This temple is the oldest in Matheran and the deity Piearnath is the grama devata. The lingam here is swayambha and looks in an notable titled ‘L’ shape and is blanketed with sindoor. This historic temple is positioned at the banks of a lake now referred to as "Charlotte". The environment of the temple are extremely beautiful and secluded.
