About Patan Patola Heritage Museum

The Sanskrit word tapasya, which generally converts into repentance of instinctive force and frit through years decades, even hundreds of years of contemplation, may portray the karmic reality of Patan's Salvi family .We have a place with a group of twofold Ikat weavers. Following 15 years of precise anticipating land, fund and engineering, and 300 years after our progenitors started to casually record subtle elements of the unpredictable weaving method of Patola weaving, we opened the ways to a private historical center in the place where we grew up Patan in north Gujarat in September 2014. This is a lively case of apparently unthinkable dreams materializing, exemplified by the sparkle according to the most youthful weavers in the family-Savan and Rahul Salvi-and our pleased uncles, Bharat and Rohit Salvi called the Patan Patola Heritage with a board outside including the names of the family's National Award champs, similar to Rahul's late father Vinayak Kantilal Salvi, this is the main such Patola historical center on the planet.
