About National Research Centre On Yak

National Research Center on Yak, the lady of its write, an organization of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research ICAR was endorsed in 1985 under the VII th Five Year Plan and it began working in the year 1989 with the joining of its first Project Director. The fundamental homestead complex is arranged at Nyukmadung at a height of 3000 mt. above msl in the yak raising tract. Its fundamental Office-cum-private complex at Dirang situated at 1500 mt. above msl, 200 km far from Tezpur on the Tezpur-Tawang Highway.
