Manvi

Manvi is a very famous and historic place in karnataka for the ancient tempels and mountains.There is a famous temple of Daasaru called "JAGANNATHA DAASARU" who written a great script called "HARIKTHAMRUTASARA".People from world wide visit the temple and get blessings of daasaru here.On the top of mountain Mallikarjuna swami temple exists,and in the town Chowdeshwari devi is the famous goddess getting Jaatra every year.Near by manvi there are many other visiting places like kallur mahalaxmi temple,Mantralaya,Bichhali,Chikalaparavi,Masarkal,Modalkal,Byagvat,Bagalwada,etc.

Daasa sahitya primarily emerged and grown in Manvi only,where many Haridaasarus sung and written many padagalu,sulaadigalu etc on this place,hence the place is very spiritual.
