On the Bhatinda-Mansa Road, at a separation of 29 km from Bhatinda is the area of the Maiser Khana Mandir. It is a sanctuary committed to the Goddess Jwala Ji and Durga. According to the legend, once there was a lover named "Kamala", who couldn't take the adventure of the journey to Jwala Ji. To respect Goddess Durga, Kamala began an atonement that was to endure forever to get her darshan. Goddess Durga satisfied with the supplication favored her with vision twice a year to see the jyoti of Goddess Jwala Ji.
So consistently, two Melas are sorted out on Ashtami, where individuals come to get a Darshan of Jwala Ji. Amid this time, individuals from all parts of Punjab assemble to ask and sing psalms out of appreciation for the divinity. Sightseers as a rule visit this place amid these Melas, where Hindus and Sikhs both take an interest. The sanctuary was worked around 1951, on the start of Mahavir Dal, Hansraj Aggarwal and Maur Mandi's Radhesham Budhlada Jagannath Ji.
