The Ranjit Sagar Dam, also known as the Thein Dam, is part of a hydroelectric project constructed by the Government of Punjab on the Ravi River on the Border of two states of India Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. It’s the largest hydroelectric project in Punjab and is a tourist attraction cause of the natural lake that has formed behind the dam.
