About Kamala Nehru Park

Kamala Nehru Park is part of the Hanging Gardens complicated in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India covering a place of approximate 16,000 square mt. Located at the top of Mumbai's Malabar Hill, it's miles developed and maintained by way of the Hydraulic Engineer's Department of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai. One of Mumbai's most fulfilling gardens it's far popular with young children and tourists. The lawn has views of the Marine power underneath - additionally called Queen's necklace.

The shoe structure is inspired by way of the nursery rhyme “There become an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe”. Soli Arceivala, Former BMC Environment Officer, VJTI Vice Principal Of 15 Years, NEERI Director had designed Old Woman's Shoe at Kamala Nehru Park. In 2017 and 2018, the park changed into rejuvenated and opened for public on 22 February 2018 by using the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai. Continuing the subject matter of 'Nursery Rhymes' the park now has extra areas designed on numerous different nursery rhymes in Marathi, Hindi and English.
