It is orchestrated around 6 kms from Gandhi Chowk in Mussoorie and one of the genuine excursion goals in Mussoorie. Sir George Everest's House and Laboratory, generally called the Park Estate was worked in 1832. It was the home and research focal point of Sir George Everest. He was a Surveyor-General of India from 1830 to 1843. Sir George was, as it were, accountable for completing the fragment of the Awesome Trigonometric Survey of India along the meridian curve from the south of India extending north to Nepal.
Hillary and Tenzing were the essential successful individuals who climbed the Mount Everest. Later on they named this peak as a Mount Everest to offer tribute to Sir George Everest. The house is organized in a place from where you can see comprehensive point of view of the Doon Valley on one side and the snow clad Himalayan ranges on the other.
