About Film city

The Film City like the kanheri caves is situated in the Sanjay Gandhi National park. As the name suggests there are many recording rooms along with many beautifully maintained gardens, lakes, and theater present at this film city. This city was mainly built for fil shooting scenarios by the state government itself. This was established in the year 1977. Executed under the strict guidance of V.Shantaram, this park was renamed after India’s first producer-director-sceenwriter Dadasaheb Phalke. This is one amazing place to visit which is filled with all different types of props. You will see something new in here for sure!
