About Darwan Singh Museum

A historical defence museum named after rst Victoria Cross holder from Garhwal Ries Darwan Singh Negi, Darwan Singh. Museum carries rarest collection of Garhwal Ries. Located close to the Parade Ground in Lansdowne, Pauri Garhwal, Darwan Singh Museum became inaugurated in 1983. Darwan Singh Museum or Garhwali Musuem is a properly adorned storey museum having severa details about the beginning. And achievements of the Garhwal Ries of the Indian navy.

Visitors can see a huge series of hands, old uniforms, rarest. Photographs of military generals, patriots in diverse wars, corticated and citations signed by the British royalty. Inside the museum images and kids below 10 years no longer allowed. Tourist also can visit a stunning ower lawn outdoor the museum which consists at least 10-12 styles of rose. Nearby there's the Parade Ground and Garhwal Ries War Memorial.
