The balanced temperatures and a huge diversity make Chamba the perfect destination all year round. The river Ravi cuts across town and adds to the scenery. The vast cover of the conifers and the pristine air, makes the place unforgettable . Do go for a boat ride in river Chamera and Manimahesh Lake.

Central Chaugan is where you can find all sorts of stone and metal artefacts, which make lovely souvenirs, and the famous Chamba and Kangra paintings. Don’t forget to pick up the famous Chamba chappals slippers as well.

One of these aesthetic marvels can be found in the Hariraya Temple in Chamba. The extravagance of the Vishnu idol takes the Centre stage of all awe. The great Indian deity riding a chariot pulled by six horses , is bound to satiate your senses .

Try out Madra, a local delicacy made from rajma red kidney beans in curd .
