Yuen Yuen Institute

Situated in picturesque Sam Dip Tam, the Yuen Institute was established in 1950 to spread the standards of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism; maintain the eight temperances dutiful devotion, regard, steadfastness, loyalty, legitimacy, equity, trustworthiness and respect and advance social welfare. One of its numerous advantageous attractions incorporates a copy of Beijing's grand Temple of Heaven Tian Tan. The Hall of Rocks Collection highlights rocks with intriguing characteristic shapes, including those of the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac.
