About Welzheim
Welzheim is a metropolis inside the Rems Murr district, in Baden Wurttemberg, Germany. It is located 35 km east of Stuttgart and 15 km northwest of Schwabisch Gmund. Welzheim has 11,239 populations and is placed within the Welzheimer Wald woodland within the north east of Wurttemberg. The district of Welzheim and its surrounding villages are particularly rural and agricultural. Because of the huge forest areas, the wood enterprise stays a huge a part of nearby commercial enterprise.
There are many stunning herbal regions near Welzheim, including the lake Ebnisee and a hiking path Muhlenwanderweg which follows many mills located within the Welzheimer Wald. In the city itself, there are sights such as the St. Gallus Church and the metropolis corridor. The records of Welzheim reaches back to the time of the Roman Empire.
Around the year 160 AD the Romans founded a colony and forts there linguists reconstructed their Latin name as Valentia on the base of the city's medieval call Wallenzin first noted in 1181. In 1980, for the 800th anniversary of the founding of the town, the eastern a part of the ruins turned into reconstructed, and in 1993 an archeological park was founded on the site.
