About Weil im Schonbuch
Weil im Schonbuch is a municipality within the Boblingen district, center Neckar vicinity, Stuttgart governmental district, Baden Wurttemberg, Germany. Its unusual name weil method due to the fact in German is derived from the presence of a Roman villa in the vicinity. Two smaller villages, Neuweiler and Breitenstein, are integrated into Weil im Schonbuch. Portions of the Schonbuch Natural Park belong to Weil im Schonbuch; the forested park has many scenic paths, ponds, streams and guarded regions for animals and rare plants. Traces of human pastime in the area have been dated to the Neolithic and Bronze Age.
A Roman settlement changed into established inside the 1st century C.E. and a villa rustica become excavated near the Toten bachmuhle.
