Amid the most recent years, the Aachen zoo, called "Euregiozoo" or "Öcher Zoo", has formed into a standout amongst the most prominent recreation offices of the locale. Around 1000 creatures of 200 species and breeds are housed in expansive nooks on around 8.9 ha.

There is an extraordinary assortment of creatures in the recreation center: not just little outlandish fowls to zebras, impalas, ostriches or Asian camels, yet in addition, nearby species can be seen.
