Fabrique des Savoirs

The Fabrique des Savoirs is positioned in Elbeuf , in a part of the previous Blin & Blind manufacturing unit , testimony to the clothier industrial past of the Elbeuven territory. The cultural center invests a constructing transformed through architects Archidev cupboard and organized through the museographer Yves Kneuse. It consists of 3 cultural and background offerings the Interpretation Center for Architecture and Heritage the museum and the Elbeuf Heritage Archives Center. These 3 offerings paintings in synergy and transversality to provide a various leisure offer: discovery excursions, conferences, youth workshops and group visits via appointment.

The Fabrique des Saviors invites visitors to discover all sides of the territory: commercial history, urban mutations, archaeological and natural technology collections, information treasure. Created in 1884 across the taxidermies accumulated via Pierre Nary, the museum's collections keep almost 45,000 gadgets, along with machines, archaeological objects, stuffed animals, paintings or ancient textiles ...
