Corondelet Palace

This framework was worked amid the nineteenth century by the President of the "Genuine Audiencia de Quito",

Royal Audience of Quito, Baron de Carondelet, subsequently its name. Notwithstanding its engineering, one of the purposes of intrigue is a wall painting painted by the Ecuadorian craftsman Oswaldo Guayasamin.

The wall painting is at the passage to the Palace and depicts the landing of the Spanish campaign in the time of the Conquest, to the Amazon River on February twelfth, 1542.
