Day 1 : Gangto to lachen Early morning breakfast – Next start for North Sikkim package tour – Leave Gangtok at about 10 A M proceed to Lachen 119 kilometers – 4 ½ hours – 5 ½ hours – Lachen is situated at an altitude of 12500 feet - On the way stop and enjoy a few wonderful locations like Tashi Viewpoint, Kabi Lungstok, Naga Waterfalls, confluence of Lachen chu and Lachung Chu at Chungthang, - The roads are colored with full bloom of Primulae, Rhododendrons and many other Alpine flowers Guest specially during spring – Guest are likely to reach Lachung at late afternoon or early evening - Check into the hotel / resort - Evening free to stroll around the village - Dinner will be served at about 8 PM – Overnight stay at Lachen

Day 2 : gurudongmar lake, thangu valley, lachung Eaely Morning Proceed to the largest lake in Sikkim,Gurudongmar Lake one of the highest in the world and considered very sacred by both Buddhists and Hindus. You should start from Lachen early in the morning (by 3:30am) because you need to be back by lunch time. The weather near Gurudongmar usually starts becoming bad as the day progresses, so you need to leave the lake area and start for Lachen by around 9am. But the early start is not a problem because the daylight here breaks very early too. The staff at your hotel in Lachen would wake you up at around 2:30-3:00am to get ready. The journey usually starts while it’s completely dark. Your first stop is at Thangu, a tiny hamlet with only handful of village huts and a large army base. Thangu is a valley with lush meadows located at an altitude of 13,000ft and about 35kms north of Lachen. It takes over 2hours to reach Thangu from Lachen. Within couple of hours the altitude changes by about 4,000ft. So you can imagine how steep the road is. There are a few stalls here where you can take tea and have hot noodles for your breakfast. After that proceed to Lachung via Lachen and Chungthang.Evening Stay At Lachung

Day 4 : yumthang valley After breakfast drive towards Yumthang situated at an elevation of nearly 11800 feet - On the way you may visit the famous hot spring which is known for its curative properties of skin diseases - Yumthang is a valley near the river Lachung Chu surrounded by mountains where the tree line ends - In spring the valley erupts in riots of colors as Primulae, Rhododendrons and many other Alpine flowers in full bloom along with snow covered valley except in autumn - Return to resort at Lachung for Lunch - Back to Gangtok - 125 kilometers, 4 – 5 hours drive - On the way stops at Singhik and Mangan - Back to Gangtok Evening free to roam around M G Road Mall or local Shopping center - Over Night stay at Gangtok.
