You will be picked up at the Kualanamu International Airport upon arrival and transferred to your Medan accommodation for check-in. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure to relax, explore, and get settled in. Overnight in Medan.

Enjoy breakfast before before driving to Bukit Lawang, about 3 hours away. Along the way we will stop at rubber and palm oil plantations. Upon arrival we will check into our accommodation and then walk into the jungle, crossing a river by traditional canoe, and enjoying a 3-hour jungle trek with the chance to see all kinds of incredible flora and fauna and perhaps even the elusive orangutan. Overnight in Bukit Lawang.

Enjoy breakfast at hotel before walking to the riverbank and crossing by traditional canoe. Walking into the jungle to see the orangutans during their feeding time. From here we will continue trekking into Leuser National Park. Keep your eyes peeled for the chance to see jungle critters such as Thomas leaf monkeys, long tailed macaques, gibbons, black gibbons and other kind of flora and fauna endemic to the tropical rain forest. Overnight in Bukit Lawang.

After breakfast we will drive to Berastagi with stop at the Sembahe river. Upon arrival in Berastagi we will head into Lumbini park to see its duplicate of Shwedagon temple before visiting the fruit market and Gundaling Hill. Overnight in Berastagi.

After breakfast we will begin the drive to Parapat, stopping along the way to visit the Batak Karo traditional village at Dokan, Sipiso-piso Waterfall, Rumah Bolon, the old palace of Batak Simalungun Kings and Simarjarunjung to see the stunning view of Lake Toba. Upon arrival in Parapat we will catch a ferry to Samosir, an island inside an island, where we will overnight.

After breakfast, we will explore Samosir Island by car, visiting several Batak Toba traditional villages:
Ambarita : To see stone chairs and table the old meeting place of Siallagan Kings
Simanindo : To see Batak Toba traditional dance and museum
Pangururan : To see the view of Lake Toba and Hot springs water
Tomok : To see the old tomb of Sidabutar Kings
In the afternoon we will return to our accommodation for relaxation and overnight.

After breakfast we will ferry back to Parapat and drive to Sipirok, stopping along the way at pineapple, clove, and coffee plantations, a traditional market at Balige Sigur-gur, and the Sipoholon Hot Springs. Before arriving in Sipirok we will take a nature walk on the banks of the Sarulla river, where you can see stunning rice terraces. Overnight in Sipirok.

Leave Sipirok for Bukittinggi, passing by the tropical rain forests of Rimba Panti, where we will stop to see monkeys. Visit a pepper, vanilla, cardamom and cinnamon garden before crossing the equator line at Bonjol. We will arrive in the charming town of Bukittinggi in the afternoon. Enjoy some free time to rest and explore on your own. Overnight in Bukittinggi.

After breakfast begin your city tour. Visit Sianok Canyon/’s Japanese tunnel, museums and market. Then drive to Batusangkar via Tabek Patah. On the way stop at Baso to see traditional weaving. Next we will reach Batu Sangkar, where we will visit the Duplicate of the Palace of Minangkabau Kingdom. In the afternoon we will return to Bukittinggi via Lake Singkarak. Overnight in Bukittinggi.

After breakfast we will drive to Padang via the breathtaking Anay Valley, where we will make a stop at the Anay Waterfall. Upon arrival in Padang you will be transferred to the airport for your departing flight. We wish you safe travels!
