Amazing 13 Days 12 Nights Nyalam Trip Package

Meeting at airport on arrival by our staff and transfer to the hotel. Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, lies in a broad valley at the edge of the Himalayan Range. Its art and architecture are an interesting blend of Hindu and Buddhist influences.

Today is the starting day of our Yatra (tour). We leave for Nyalam early in the morning. Nearly after four hours long drive we reach at Friendship Bridge (Border Bridge between Nepal and China). After reaching at the boarder we will have our lunch and we do some custom works there for Kailash. From here we walk for about 10 minutes to cross Friendship Bridge and meet our Tibetan guide and vehicle. After all the immigration and custom formalities at the Chinese check post, our journey continues for another 35 km which can take almost one and half hours through the up-winding road to Nyalam with beautiful scenery. Then, you will be transferred to the guest house in Nyalam (3700m).

Today is free for acclimatization at Nyalam. After breakfast we leave for short hike which is in preparation for Kailash Parikrama and it helps us to acclimatize fast.

After breakfast, we drive to Dongba passing through many beautiful & traditional villages and camps of yak herders. We can see many snow-capped mountains such as Sisapangma (8081m) Guari Shankar mountain range and many other boarder land mountains in our far south from Lalungla pass (Nyalam pass) which is the first highest pass (5100 m) in our trip. We will see a spectacular flying prayer flags and praying cards at Lalungla pass. On the way, we will visit Fikichhu lake and Barmaputra River-a holy river. Overnight at guest house in Dongba.

After breakfast we will be ready for the longest driving day. We nearly in late afternoon- can have first view of Holy Mt. Kailash and Lake Mansarovar. Hore (Chhersakhang) and the starting point of Manasarovar kora (parikrama) – a small village is situated near Holy Mansarovar Lake. Holy Mansarovar (14950 ft/4558m) – the highest lake of fresh water with turquoise complexion in the world is full of fishes and swans. Holy Mt. Kailash, Mt. Gurula-Mandala, Lake Rakshash are lying on its surrounding. The region is considered rich for gold and other mines, hot springs and hundreds of wild living creatures.

Holy Mansarovar - the lake of compassion, tranquility and bliss may take in the real spiritual world. After the morning praying with bathing, we will move towards the Holy Mansarovar Parikrama by vehicle. After lunch drive towards Tarchen (Darchen). We catch many beautiful views of Nandi Hill, Asthapath and Mt. Kailsah very closely. We also view the Rakshas Lake (poison lake) on the way. Tarchen is considered as a base camp for Holy Kailash Parikrama. During the auspicious pilgrimage time, this place will be flooded with pilgrims with hundreds of tents all around.

After breakfast, we head towards Yamadwar (Tarboche) which is the starting point of Kailash Parikrama. Tarboche is also well known as an outer “Asthapath”. It is one of the exciting days walking along the beautiful rocky cliffs; waterfalls with some clouds in the clear blue sky make you feel that Great God Shiva is everywhere with tons of blessing to you. We see Ganesh Parwat on its' side. Time to time the north face of Kailash Parbat will be kept on appearing.

Today is the most challenging day in our Yatra. After breakfast, we trek to Dolma-la (Dolma-La 18600 ft) and then descending gradually to Zuthulpuk (4760m). Yamasthal should be crossed to reach the Shiva-sthal while your steps go closer to the pass. It is the most difficult day of the trek. Once we reach on the top we do the holiest offering and sit down for meditation to forget in eternity. Once our steps go down, Parvati-sthal and Gauri Kunda are on the way. By late afternoon we will arrive in Zuthulpuk- the cave of Miracles, the great ascetic Milerappa is supposed to have preformed miracles here.

After breakfast, we explore the caves, temples and shrine in the morning free time. After walking 3 hours, all the driving crew will be waiting for our arrival. When we arrive at Chhersakhang almost our Yatra is completed here. By late afternoon we arrive at Darchen and drive towards Dongba via Mansarovar.

Early morning, we will drive to Nyalam (376 km) & transfer to Guest House.

Early morning, we will drive to border town of Zhangmu where we will clear customs and continue our journey to Kathmandu.
