You will be welcomed at San Pedro Sula International Airport, and will be transported in an air- conditioned bus to the City of Copa?n. Accommodations at hotel “Marina Copa?n.” Among the guests that stayed at the hotel include Queen Sofia of Spain and Richard Gere. The hotel is located 10 minutes from the Maya Ruins. There will be welcoming refreshments and dinner upon arrival, time off to relax, after dinner.

Visit to the Copan ruins were you will see the largest collection of Kings, Queens and Serpent monoliths, Steles and Priestly Caves. You will be able to explore the tunnels, burial grounds of the royalty. At the park you will be able to watch all kinds of Macaws and yellow Parrots. 1000 a.m. Board the bus that will take you to the Paleontological Museum of Estanzuela, Zacapa. At this museum you will be able to examine several Maya Kings burial places and the pre-historical skeletons of pre-Columbian animals. 1200 Noon Lunch at El Meso?n Espanol there you will enjoy your first truly Guatemalan meal. 100 p.m. Leave to Quirigua. 200 p.m. Arrive at the Quirigua ruins were you will see the largest Steles and Zoomorphic Maya figurines.
400 Leave to Puerto Barrios. 530 Arrive at Puerto Barrios. You will board a Water Taxi and sail to Livingston, the most beautiful fishing village in the Guatemala Caribbean. CNN Spanish acclaimed it as the only place to be “al suave” (at ease.) 600 p.m. Arrive at Posada El Delfin in Livingston, Izabal were you will be accommodated for the night. Posada El Delfin is the only hotel certified by “Green Deal” WWF in Livingston, and Tui, the German organization for the protection of dolphins. 630 p.m. Dinner at the hotel. After dinner, time off to explore the village.

Board the boat that will take you to the Belize lower keys. There you will be able to snorkel, swim, or just relax at the sugar sand beach. Water is tepid underneath the reefs. Our chef will prepare a seafood lunch while you enjoy the sun. 230 p.m. Board the boat back to Livingston. 400 p.m. Arrive at the hotel for an afternoon of leisure time at the pool or the hotel hammocks. 630 p.m. Dinner at one of Livingston’s renowned restaurants, El Malecon. After dinner you will be entertain by a Show of Garifuna dance and music.

Board a boat to tour the Rio Dulce Canyon, one of the Guatemala’s natural wonders. In the 1700s this river was sailed by Pirates and Corsairs the likes of William Parker, Diego—wooden leg El Mulato, Anthony Shirley “the Adventurer,” Juan Tati?n “the Spaniard,” and William Jackson from time to time. You will visit the hanging gardens, the Pioneer’s Wall, Tati?n Creek, the Hot Water Spring and the Lake of the Lilies. During your upriver boat ride you will be able to watch the local fishermen at their craft. At the source of the river you will visit the San Felipe Fortress. A Spanish fort set to guard the gold going to Spain, from Pirates’ looting. 100 p.m. Lunch at Bruno’s marina in Fronteras, Ri?o Dulce. 200 p.m. Board the bus that will take you to the Tikal ruins. 700 p.m. Arrive at Tikal National Park. You will be accommodated at the Jaguar Inn, a hotel that stands inside the Park. 730 p.m. Dinner at the hotel?

You will escalate the highest temple for a 15-minute silence and meditation epiphany. You will participate in the exhilarating experience of sunrise over the canopy of the jungle. You will hear the howling monkeys, and listen to sunrise birdcalls. After sunrise you will take a three-hour tour in the park ending at the Maya Acropolis facing the Great Jaguar temple. 900 a.m. Back to the hotel for a delicious breakfast 1030 a.m. Back to the park for a visit to the temples, ruins, steles and sacred burial grounds. 130 p.m. Lunch at the hotel 230 p.m. Leisure time, or time off to explore the rest of Tikal at your own pace 630 p.m. Dinner at the hotel and “al suave” (CNN, at ease) for the rest of the evening.

Board the bus to visit the Island of Santa Elena, Peten.930 a.m. Arrive at Santa Elena. There you will stroll on coble stone paved streets, and view the Spanish architecture colorful homes, surrounded by the lake. 1030 a.m. Depart from the Island back to Rio Dulce. 1230 p.m. Lunch en route. 130 p.m. Continue the trek en route to Puerto Barrios. 530 p.m. Arrive at Puerto Barrios and board a water taxi headed to Livingston. 600 p.m. Arrive in Livingston. 700 p.m. Diner at Posada El Delfi?n.

Day at the sun at Playa Blanca (white sands beach.) Box lunch and refreshments 200 p.m. Leave to the Seven Altars Water Falls. 400 p.m. Return to Livingston. 630 p.m. Dinner at the hotel, rest of the evening free.

Leave back to San Pedro Sula International Airport.
