Did not get response for a long time When I was about to book with another agent, I recd. a call from MMT. They took time to send me the itinerary and quotation. After I booked and paid the initial amount, I did not get response for my queries. On 3rd of June I was to board flight from Kolkata and on 2nd June at 12.30 PM I recd a call that I must send a scanned copy of my passport immediately Otherwise my reservation will be cancelled. I was in the train at that time. They insisted that somehow I send the copy through text message. When I enquired with other travelers who booked through MMT on the same trip whether they recd. the call, they replied in negative. In fact passport is not necessary. Voters ID card is sufficient. It is still a mystery why only myself recd. that call. After reaching Thimphu hotel with the guide, the tour manager came there and distributed rooms and said she would be joining at the time of breakfast and dinner everyday. But she did not turn up on a single day subsequently. They also did not convey to the hotels my food preference which I gave at the time of booking when asked. Of course the hotel staff were very co-operatuve and prepared the food as per our requirement. Before booking we were told that accommodation will be of 3 star. But for first three days we were put in a 2 star hotel, one day in 3 star hotel and 2 days in average class resort. On the whole the trip was good because the guide and the staff of the hotels were very nice and co-operative. I will not think of taking a package tour through MMT
