When you arrive in Auckland a local representative will meet you at Auckland Airport and assist with transfer to the hotel in a private vehicle. After breakfast check-out from the hotel in Auckland and embark on a 240-kilometer drive to Bay of Islands. Known for its natural beauty and beaches Bay of Islands is a stunningly beautiful region made up of 144 islands dotted across waters teeming with marine life. After crossing Aucklands Harbour Bridge continue driving on scenic roads along the picturesque Hibiscus Coast. Drive past Whangarei to reach the Waitangi Treaty Grounds where you will learn about New Zealands Treaty of Waitangi signed during the 19th century. Admire the marae and see a waka war canoe here. Following this set off on a Hole in the Rock and Cape Brett cruise. While cruising past rugged rocky outcrops keep looking for dolphins and whales that frequent the area. During the cruise you will also cross the iconic Cape Brett Lighthouse and famed Hole in the Rock on Motukokako Island. You can choose to disembark from the cruise at Russell and explore the enchanting town which was the first capital city of New Zealand and home to early English settlers. After soaking up some history and culture and exploring the towns boutique shops and eateries you can board the ferry again and travel to Paihia. At Paihia check-in at the hotel for an overnight stay.

See the northernmost point of New Zealand where the Tasman Sea and Pacific Ocean meet. Explore the rugged coastline of Cape Reinga and try sandboarding at pristine 90 Mile Beach . Alternatively consider exploring the historic towns of Russell and Kerikeri which offer a great insight into New Zealands Maori as well as Colonial heritage suggested activities at your own expense.
