Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Negombo
Once you arrive at the airport, the representative will help you reach your hotel in the Negombo and get relaxed.
Day 2 : Kandy
Enjoy your breakfast and then you will move to the Muneeshwaram and Mannavari temples in Chilaw. As per the mythology, while departing from Sri Lanka after the war, Lord Rama felt Bramhaasthi Dosham, a malevolent shadow, was following him for killing King Ravana, who was a Brahmin. He observed that the shadow was not following him at Muneeshwaram, At this place he received help from Lord Shiva to get rid of the stated Shadow. Mannavari temple is the first place where Lord Rama prayed to Lord Shiva to get rid him off the Bramhaasthi Dosham.
Day 3 : Kandy
Enjoy the toothsome meal today and we will take you to the city tour of Kandy, a UNESCO heritage site. You can visit the Devi Sita tear pond and the chariot path. After recollecting your energy back at the hotel then take part in the Pooja ceremony at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth. This tooth is said to be tooth from Lord Buddha. You can enjoy the evening cultural show and move towards the hotel.
Day 4 : Kandy
Today we will visit the important places related to the mythology as Dunuvila & Laggala, Yahanagala, Weragantota, Sitakotuwa and Gurulupota Lankapura. Laggala is famous as King Ravana prayed to Lord Shiva here. It is believed that he died at Dunuvila and his dead body was kept at Yahanagala so that his followers can show respect to him there. It is believed that King Ravana landed his aircraft, Dhandu Monara, at Weragantota.
Day 5 : Nuwaraeliya
Today we will move to the Nuwara Eliya which is also known as little England due to its weather, mountains and waterfall around the area. We will visit Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple where Lord Rama’s forces was gathered to participate in the war against Kind Ravana. Also visit the beautiful lakes Gregory and Victoria Lake. You will spend the night at the hotel.
Day 6 : Kataragama
Visit Sita Amman Temple today. It is believed that Mata Sita Devi bathed in a stream running from the hill. Ten decades ago three idols were found in the stream and now there is a temple covering them by the side of the Stream. Now, wander in the Hakgala Botanical garden which was created by the King Ravana and it was more expanded during the British rule. Then we will make a move to Divurumpola, it is the place where Mata Sita performed the Agni Pariksha, proving her chastity to her husband Lord Rama. After that visit the Ravana waterfalls, before going to Kataragama and checking in to your hotel.
Day 7 : Galle
After breakfast, you have an optional tour to Yala National Park for a jeep safari. The national park is a huge area of forest, grassland and lagoons bordering the Indian Ocean, in southeast Sri Lanka. It’s home to wildlife such as leopards, elephants and crocodiles, as well as hundreds of bird species. Inland, visit Sithulpawwa, an ancient Buddhist monastery. Nearby caves contain centuries-old rock paintings. To the Southwest, Magul Maha Viharaya also has ancient Buddhist ruins.
Day 8 : Colombo
After breakfast, depart for Colombo. Check in to your hotel before visiting Kelaniya Temple. Buddhists believe the temple to be a hallowed by Lord Buddha during his third and final visit to Sri Lanka, eight years after gaining enlightenment. Its history would thus go back to before 500 BCE. Also, join a city tour of Colombo, Sri Lanka’s capital and its largest city. The traders and settlers over the years—the Arabs, Portuguese, Dutch and the British, have left in their wake churches and monuments, names and religions, costumes and food and smatterings of their languages that have been absorbed into the Sri Lankan language. The places of interest are the beautiful Gangaramaya Temple, the historic Wolfendhal church and Independence Square.
Day 9 : Colombo
Today enjoy your breakfast and get ready to depart to the airport.
