After breakfast visit - Sri Govindraj Temple, Netaji Subash Chandra Memorial, Legislative Assembly( Outside view). Loktak Lake -- largest fresh water lake in the North-East, The Keibul Lamjao National Park, The Indian National Army Museum, Ima bazaar and overnight stay.
After breakfast visit Kangla Fort and Govindjee Temple then proceed to Kohima. En route, visit Kisama, the Heritage Village of Kohima, Kohima state museum and in the evening check into your pre-booked hotel and rest for the night. Overnight stay at Kohima.

Early in the morning, get set for an elephant safari at 5.30 AM to 6.30 AM in the western range of the national park. After breakfast at visit Tawang Monastery, The famous Galden Namgyal Lhatse, popularly known as Tawang Monastery was founded during the 17th century by Merak Lama Lodre Gyatso who is considered as a contemporary of the 5th Dalai Lama. It is Asia’s second largest monastery and India’s largest which controls 17 Gompas in the region. The monastery has a three-storied assembly hall and 28 ft high golden statue of Lord Buddha. There is also a big library which has an impressive collection of ancient books and mauscripts. The famous Buddhist gold inscribed scriptures Kangyur and Tangyur are preserved here. Bhramadungchung ani gompa, Urgelling monastery /– birth place of 6th Dalai Lama and War Tawang War memorial and evening enjoy the shopping at local market of Tawang. Overnight stay at Tawang.
After breakfast proceed to Dirang, on arrival visit Urgelling Monastery birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama, Narunang waterfall at Jang. En-route we visit Kiwi garden, see Dirang Monpa, Kiwi farm(outside view), Indo China war memorial, sela pass, Jaswantgad, Nuranang waterfalls, Yak research centre. Overnight stay at Dirang.
Morning after breakfast proceed to Tezpur. En-route cross Bhalukpong, a town on the Assam Arunachal Pradesh border. After clear entry formalities (Inner Line Permit) at Bhalukpong gate drive up to Tipi orchid center Orchid Paradise is famed to have the largest variety of orchids in India. The Orchidarium at Tipi shelters 400 or more varieties of orchids. Then continue uphill drive passing by the beautiful eastern Himalayan landscape towards Dirang. Dirang is a beautiful high altitude valley inhabited by Monpa tribe. At Dirang visit beautiful sangty valley winter resident of the Black necked Crane, Kalchakra monastery , Dirang D’zong, and Kiwi garden. Overnight stay at Tezpur.
After breakfast get ready and proceed to Shillong. en-route Dolphin Watching on the Brahmaputra River (Weather Condition) Meghalaya (Shillong) has rightly earned the sobriquet of Scotland of the East owing to the rolling hills, beautiful scenery and climate and proceed to Shillong capital of the state of Meghalaya and home to the Khasi tribe. Perched at great heights, it is in fact the edge of a hill which is surrounded by green hills and valleys. The view of grassy plus rocky hills all around and tiny villages far below is really magnificent. Walking down to the valley via an uneven rock Path is rather easy; however the climb uphill is a bit tedious. Laitlum Canyons is not at all crowded and commercialized like other tourist places and is best suited for a secluded and peaceful break from the usual hustle bustle of city life. It is absolutely a paradise for trekkers and nature lovers.
