Day wise Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrive Dhaka

Receive from Dhaka Airport & transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel. If time permit sightseeing. Depends on flight schedule.

Day 2 : Dhaka Jessore by Domestic Flight Jessore Khulna 54 KM by Road

Morning after breakfast we are transferred to the airport for our flight to Jessore where we are met and we start tracing the rich heritage of Bangladesh We commence with a scenic rural Bangladesh landscape as we drive to Bagerhat via Khulna Our explorations here includes the famous Mosque city visiting the 60 domes Mosque a UNESCO World Heritage Site tomb of Khan Jahan Builder of the Mosque the 9 dome mosque before continuing on to Khulna via Mongla Overnight at Hotel

Day 3 : Khulna- Mongla By Road Sundarbans by Wooden Glass Fiber Boat

The Sundarbans mangrove forest the single largest forest in the world 140000 ha lies on the delta of the Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna rivers on the Bay of Bengal The site is intersected by a complex network of tidal waterways mudflats and small islands of salt tolerant mangrove forest and presents an excellent example of ongoing ecological processes We visit the worlds largest mangrove belt a popular habitat of the Royal Bengal tiger The forest treasures 330 plant species 35 reptiles 400 fishes birds and 42 mammals At evening back to Mongla and Night Halt at Khulna Overnight at Hotel

Day 4 : Khulna Bogra 289 KM 8 Hrs Journey by Road

Another day into the heritage of this unique country as we proceed to Bogra we will experience today seeing the rural and village life of Bangladesh We stop at ious villages and the local bazaars to get a feel of the lifestyle Upon arrival at Bogra we are transferred to our hotel Overnight at Bogra

Day 5 : Bogra

After breakfast you have to visit Mahastangarh the archeological site dating from 3rdcentury BC which is about 13 KM north of Bogra represents the earliest of city site in the whole of Bengal Its an impressive fortified city covering about 210000 squire meters most of which is still buried beneath the farmland The citadel is encircled on three sites by artificial moats and by the Korotowa River othe fourth. Night Halt at Bogra Mahasthangarh is the earliest urban archaeological site so far discovered in Bangladesh. The village Mahasthan in Shibganj thana of Bogra District contains the remains of an ancient city which was called Pundranagara or Paundradhanapura in the territory of Pundradhana A limestone slab bearing six lines in Prakrit in Brahmi script discovered in 1931 dates Mahasthangarh to at least the 3rd century BC The fortified area was in use till the 18th century AD Together with the ancient and mediaeval ruins the mazhar holy tomb of Shah Sultan Balkhi Mahisawar built at site of a Hindu temple is located at Mahasthangarh He was a dervish holy person devoted to Islam of royal lineage who came to the Mahasthangarh area with the objective of spreading Islam among non-Muslims He converted the people of the area to Islam and settled there Mahasthan means a place that has excellent sanctity and garh means fort Mahasthan was first mentioned in a Sanskrit text of the 13th century entitled Vallalcharita

Day 6 : BOGRA PAHARPUR DINAJPUR BY ROAD

After breakfast drive to Paharpur to visit the famous Buddhist Stupa dating from 8thCentury Paharpur is about 56 KM from Bogra It has been identified from a series of inscribed clay seals as the Samapura Vihara from the great Pala Dynasty Its the biggest single Vihara Image House south of the Himalayas measuring approximately 273 Meters along each site and enclosed by an outer wall with 177 monastic Cells built into it. In the centre of the 09 Hector courtyards are the ruins of a mighty temple which rises to a height of 22 meters an unusual hillock giving the local village of Paharpur The temple is cruciform in plan built in high quality brick with thousands of Terracotta plaque depicting the art from of that period whether it be religious or secular human or animal or mythological or purely an artists whim Somapura was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985 Since then, a series of UNESCO missions has regularly visited the site and helped with the project Moreover the UN body also prepared a master plan involving 5 6 million dollars Night Halt at Dinajpur

Day 7 : DINAJPUR NAOGAON RAJSHAHI BY ROAD

After breakfast visit Kantaji Temple Kantaji Temple is a late medieval Hindu temple in Dinajpur, Bangladesh Built by Maharaja Pran Nath its construction started in 1722 C E and ended in 1752 C E during the reign of his son Maharaja Ramnath It boasts one of the greatest examples on Terracotta architecture in Bangladesh and once had nine spires but all were destroyed in an earthquake that took place in 1897 After visit the ancient Hindu Temple drive to Rajshahi One the way you have to visit Kusumba Mosque Kusumba Mosque is named after the village of Kusumba under the Manda upazila of Naogaon district on the west bank of the Atrai River It is inside a walled enclosure with a monumental gateway that has standing spaces for guards It was built during the period of Afghan rule in Bengal under one of the last Suri rulers Ghiyasuddin Bahadur Shah by one Sulaiman who was probably a high ranking official The inscription tablet in Arabic only the word built by is in Persian dating the building to 966 AH 1558 59 AD is fixed over its eastern central entrance Although built during Suri rule it is not influenced at all by the earlier Suri architecture of North India and is well grounded in the Bengal style The brick building gently curved cornice and the engaged octagonal corner towers are typical features Night Halt at Rajshahi

Day 8 : RAJSHAHI –PUTHIA –DHAKA BY ROAD

After breakfast, visit Varendra museum The Varendra Research Museum one of the oldest museums in this subcontinent is situated in the heart of Rajshahi city Its library contains 22000 printed books and journals and 6000 manuscripts in Bengali Sanskrit Arabic and Persian languages The library has been moved from the Museum building to a new modern structure It was one of the first non government initiatives for building a museum by some enlightened people with Kumar Sarat Kumar Roy during the British era This museum has a large collection of statues of Lord Surya and some unique masterpieces illustrating the history of the locality and its civilization on the way to Dhaka you have to visit PUTHIA RAJBARI PALACE more archaeological than architectural it tells a different story about a 19th century palace almost stripped bare Close to a desolate side street stands the towering Puthia Rajbari palace in the northwestern district of Rajshahi Over night at Dhaka

Day 9 : Dhaka Sonargaon Sylhet

After breakfast drive to Sonargaon 29 km the ancient capital of golden Bangal Where the world famous and finest Muslin was produced The city was under Turkish sultanate during 1280 AD The main attractions of Sonargaon of today the Panam deed city Goaldi mosque of Sultanate period & the attractive and rich folk art museum Wed & Thursday closed with the panoramic lake and gardens Continue drive to Sylhet 317 KM the road journey to Sylhet passing through the Asian highway will be comfortable and attractive with wonderful natural view of countryside village markets and crossing several long concrete bridges over the wide rivers Upon arrival sylhet transfer to hotel Afternoon city sightseeing nearby Tea garden or Free option to pass leisure at the your own and stay overnight at Sylhet

Day 10 : Sylhet Jaflong

After breakfast drive to Jaflong 60 KM. Enjoy the beauty of Jaflong and see the activities there the whole day. Lunch at a local restaurant at Jaflong. Return to the hotel in the evening. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 11 : Sylhet Srimangal
