Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival at Guwahati – Bhalukpong - 4 h 53 min 241. 3 km

After breakfast you will proceed to Bhalukpong. En-route enjoys the scenic beauty around the Brahmaputra River. You could also take selfies and photo sessions. Bhalukpong - It has dense lush green forests and has immense scenic beauty. On Reaching Bhalukpong check into the hotel take rest after that in the evening explore the local market where you can see countless options for food, across popular cuisines. From Indian to Chinese to Tibetan and Continental cosine, Bhalukpong's menu has everything down its list. Overnight stay at Bhalukpong.

Day 2 : Bhalukpong- Dirang - 4 h 43 min 139. 1 km

After breakfast we leave for Dirang the land of the Monpa tribe. Dirang is also famous for its apple orchards, sheep breeding farms and natural hot springs. Enroute visit Tippi Orchid Centre and Sessa Orchid Sanctuary dirang dzong. Most part of the road skirts besides the Kameg River, passing occasionally through thick tropical forests. Overnight at Dirang.

Day 3 : Dirang - Tawang - Sela Pass - 4 h 49 min 128. 8 km

Today after breakfast, depart Dirang for a fascinating drive to tawang. The road moves along the Dirang River for 10 kms and then the road climbs towards Sela Pass. Situated at an altitude of 14, 000 ft. this route to Sela Pass from Dirang is sparsely populated and the forest cover is alpine. This famous pass is covered with snow for most of the year as is the Paradise Lake, a small lake, hot water spring, jaswant ghar memorial. The drive now is bewitching with piercing snow peaks towering above you, waterfalls some frozen at every corner and a gushing Nuranang river accompanying you most of the way. Overnight at Tawang.

Day 4 : Tawang - PTSO Lake, Bumla and Madhuri Lake

After breakfast get ready to visit the famous PTSO Lake, Madhuri Lake and Bumla Pass. For this you need to obtain a special pass and also need to hire a separate vehicle. Permit for Bumla and China Border will have to be obtained one day prior to date of journey. Night, stay in Tawang. PTSO Lake: Pangang Teng Tso Lake, one of the most famous lakes of Arunachal Pradesh, is located at a distance of 18 kilometer from Tawang Township. Popularly known as P. T. Tso Lake, this lake is one of the ideal spots for picnic. The word 'Tso' in Monpa dialect means Monpa. During the winter months, the lake remains entirely frozen. Land records say the lake was created by a flash flood following the 1950 earthquake in the region. But, many come here to see Madhuri Lake. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5 : Tawang – Bomdila - 5 h 51 min 171. 3 km

After breakfast drive to Bomdila before that visit the legendary 400 year - old monastery at Tawang. • The Tawang monastery was founded by the Merak Lama Lodre Gyatso in 1681 in accordance to the wishes of the 5th Dalai Lama, Nagwang Lobsang Gyatso, and has an interesting legend surrounding its name, which means "Chosen by Horse". It also houses Also visit Urgelling Monastery, situated 5 km to the south of Tawang Township place of misty mountains, lush forest, apple orchards and Buddhist monasteries. • War Memorial: Tawang War Memorial, a 40 foot high multi-hued memorial, has a structure constructed in stupa design. Dedicated to the martyrs of Sino-India War held in 1962, this memorial is nestled among beautiful peaks, which overlooks the Tawang-Chu valley. Popularly known as Namgyal Chorten, the memorial has names of 2, 420 dead soldiers. Bomdila, the district HQ of the West Kameng district, is located at a height of 2, 530m. Catch up on the sights you might have missed out before. In the evening experience the local flavor – head out on walks and interact with the locals to enhance your experience. Overnight at Bomdila.

Day 6 : Bomdila – Kaziranga - 6 h 7 min 204. 2 km

After Breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed towards to Kaziranga: Kaziranga - a hub of one horned Rhinoceros also known as the place of many endangered species. On Reaching Check in to your hotel in Kaziranga and take rest. Your evening is at leisure and you can sprawl amidst nature with your kids. In the later evening you can go to Kaziranga Sandhya a euphoric cultural extravaganza where different folk dances of Assam are shown including Bihu which is a famous traditional dance of Assamese people. Day 7 : Elephant Safari & Jeep Safari – Shillong - 5 h 20 min 252. 2 km

In the morning at 5 AM, before breakfast proceed for the Elephant Safari at any of the range Eastern/Central. Explore the wildlife of Kaziranga specially the pride of Assam, One horned Rhinoceros, Wild Buffalo, Hog Deer, Swamp deer, red headed bill and ious flora and faunas. After Elephant Safari Return back to hotel have breakfast take rest then pack your bags and check out from the Hotel/resort and get ready for Exclusive Jeep Safari. Day 8 : Shillong - Smit - Latilum canyon – Jowai -

And it is fact that Laitlum nestled at great heights, and is surrounded by vast rocky hills and valleys. • Jowai - Krang Suri Waterfall After that back to hotel shillong take rest and overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 9 : Mawllynnong - Dawki River – Cherrapunjee

After breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed towards Mawllynnong Village the cleanest village in Asia • Mawylynnong, a picturesque village located in East Khasi Hills along the India-Bangladesh border. d as the cleanest village in Asia by Discover India magazine in 2003, the modestly existing Mawylynnong has alternatively been known as 'God's own garden' too. You can visit Balancing Rock, Sky Walk, Bangladesh View point and the longest Living Root Bridge. • Elephant falls - Renamed as Elephant Falls by the British, who found it difficult to pronounce the local name, the waterfall is believed to have gotten its name from a huge elephant-shaped rock near it. Though the rock was destroyed in an earthquake, the name remained. Make the best use of this waterfall and shed your inhibitions to take a dip in cold, clear water. • Dawki and river Umgnot, with pictures of crystal clear waters popular in the social media. You can have a bath over here, enjoy local boating. On the way to Dawki you can enjoy the view of Borhill Falls and Kyram Falls. • Single Decker Bridge - Right at the midway while going downhill, you’ll get a different path, indicating the route towards Single Decker Living Root Bridge. After that go to Cherrapunjee hotel reach there by the evening check into the hotel and enjoy the food in the evening can have a leisurely walk locally. Overnight Stay at Cherrapunjee.

Day 10 : Nongriat Treak Double Decker Bridge

After breakfast get ready for tracking: • DOUBLE DECKER BRIDGE - As the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. Living Root Bridge, a natural bridge formed with the roots of the trees. A little hiking is required to see the magnificent bridge hiking approx. 1 hour. Then visit the balancing rock, a small stone holding a big rock by balancing it on above it and the Tree House watch tower made by the local people of the village. • Mawsmai cave: A major northeast tourist attraction, the Mawsmai cave is flocked by tourists throughout the year. Visit these surreal limestone constructions for a holistic holiday experience. • Arwah cave: The Arwah Cave in Cherrapunjee is a magnificent spot for all nature lovers. One can spot a diverse range of flora and fauna amidst these limestone stacks. Day 11 : Explore Cherrapunjee – Guwahati

A small bridge helps one cross over to the other section of the park in times of heavy rains or the monsoons, when the stream below overflows with water.
