Witness the old Jewish Ghetto is generally also known as Josefov, it is arranged between the Old Town and the Vltava River. Its history began in the thirteenth century when Jews living in Prague were asked for to purge their homes and settle in this one district. The Jews were confined from living wherever else in the city and were joined by individual removed Jews from other European countries.
