About Aguacate
Aguacate is a network of about 5,000 people within the province of Mayabeque in Cuba. Until 1976 it become part of the previous province of Havana. It became a town until 1973 whilst it became incorporated into the municipality of Madruga. As of January 1, 2011, the locality became a part of the new Province of Mayabeque. Aguacate is also a station on the principle line of the Cuban National Railway. The city changed into founded in 1796 by means of a few acquaintances who settled in el corral de los Siete Príncipes.
This community become divided in 1803. That same yr the primary church become constructed, being auxiliary of Jibacoa. Later an oratorio consecrated to Our Lady of the Carmen became built, replacing the primary church. The community changed into significantly broken inside the 1846 Havana storm. The municipal council dates from 1879. In 1919 Aguacate had a population of 2557 human beings, increasing to 2895 in 1931 and accomplishing 3324 in 1943. In 2002 it passed five,000 population.
