About Legrad
Legrad is a municipality in northern Croatia, placed north of Koprivnica and east of Ludbreg in the Koprivnica–Krizevci County. There are 2,241 inhabitants inside the municipality, absolute majority of that are Croats at 97.4%, with the biggest minority being Romani at 1% of the municipality. Beside the Roman Catholic majority, there are Hungarian and Croatian Lutherans that have a lifestyle starting inside the 16th century. Legrad got a railway station on the other facet of the river Drava in Hungary within the second half of of the 19th century and that the call of this train station was Legrad until some years in the past.
It is traditionally very crucial that Novi Zrin changed into close to Legrad. In the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century, Legrad changed into a part of the Zala County of the Kingdom of Hungary.
