Franjo Tudman Bridge

Dubrovnik's distinctive hues are even evident in the stream wharf structures. Named for the principal leader of Croatia following its autonomy from Yugoslavia, the Franjo Tudman Bridge is suspended over the Rijeka Dubrovacka, close to the Port of Gruz. The connected opened in 2002 and is one of the main structures you see as you enter the city by transport.

The scaffold was initially named the Dubrovnik Bridge, however it was later renamed into The Bridge of dr. Franjo Tudman the main Croatian president. There were ious political clashes on that issue and sooner or later there were numerous street signs with ious names confounding the two local people and travelers. The leader of Dubrovnik around then demanded changing the name and she prevailing in 2004 when the scaffold was formally renamed.
