Monserrate

The pile of Cerro de Monserrate ascends over downtown Bogotá, ruling the horizon of Colombia's capital. A congregation high up on the mountain is one of the city's most prominent vacation spots.

Today the mountain and church have turned into a vital goal for voyagers and pioneers – some of whom even slither upon their knees! – And getting up to the best is less demanding than any time in recent memory.

As all of downtown and south Bogotá, and huge segments of the north, are noticeable from the highest point of Monserrate, it is a tremendously prevalent place to visit to appreciate unparalleled perspectives over the city, especially at dusk.

There are a few distinctive approaches to achieve the highest point of the mountain, including by link auto, funicular railroad, and by walking.
